Taulbee will be featured in a program of music of the French tradition
played on the 1923 Skinner organ in splendid architecture and warm
acoustics.
Music of Duruflé, Jongen, Tournemire, with works
of
Messiaen in observance of the centennial of his birth.

Sun Kyoung Kim, a native of Seoul, South Korea, is a doctoral
student at Claremont Graduate University, where she studies organ with Dr. Carey Robertson.
Her program will include works by Buxtehude, Bach, Widor, Locklair, and
Messiaen.

introduce the San Diego chapter's very successful education
program and lead a discussion. An opportunity for our chapter
to consider how we might implement a similar program. If you teach
piano or organ to children or young people, this is for you.

Duane Prill is principal organist of Asbury First United
Methodist Church in Rochester, New York. He holds degrees from Ohio
Wesleyan University and The Eastman School of Music. As tonal director for
Parsons Pipe Organ Builders, he was involved in the voicing of this small
but versatile organ.

There
will be a slide show of area historic instruments and lectures by guest speakers
Manuel Rosales and Jonathan Ambrosino, and performances by organists
John West, Zeljko Marasovich, Frances Nobert,
James Walker, Ae-Kyong Kim, James Hopkins, Elizabeth
Lenti, and Timothy Howard, including music by Pasadena
composers. Please join us for all or any part of this day.

Bay-area organist Susan Jane Matthews, former principal organist
of Grace Cathedral, San Francisco, plays a varied program on a large
instrument in friendly acoustics. Dr. Matthews is currently director of music at St.
Paul's Episcopal Church in Burlingame. Visit her website.
The recital will include works of Bach, Demessieux, and Halley, and
Widor's Symphony No. 6 for organ.

of chamber music for organ with other instruments on a historic organ in a historic
building. The program includes works by Telemann, Heinichen, Mendelssohn,
Sanders, Lemmens, Handel, and Phillips.
